Last of theiconic carburetor Fireblades. This bike isa late registered RRX with only 19000 miles from new. It's infantastic original condition except for one big change for the better; it has a17" front wheel conversion using VFR800 wheel so still looks like acompletely standard bike until you get close and know what you are looking at. Conversionuses VFR800 wheel CBR1100RRX discs with custom wheel spacers. Thismeans you can easily go back to the original 16" wheel if required as thebrake calipers mountings have not been modified. The standard 16"tyres are now only available from couple of manufacturers, so with the17" wheel you can use all the latest sticky tyres. It's currently got apair of new Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa which work really well. Fork heightadjusted to retain steering geometry. Original wheel included if you want to goback to standard. Otherchanges updates to the bike:New headgasket (only replaced due to tiny oil weep)Dyno jet kitand K&N air filter. Remus carbonend can. New Brembobrake pads and braided hoses front and rear. MRA doublebubble screen (also have standard screen)Carbon rearhugger mudguard.New goldchain and sprockets. Passengergrab rail. MOT'd tillDecember.  I bought thisbike couple of years ago  as bit of amid life crisis (had FIreblades new in 1994, 1998 2000) and so couldfinally complete the 17” wheel conversion I’d wanted to do on my first bikes.
