am selling this for my dad so if you have any questions bear with me I'll try and answer them as soon as can 
This is 1977 Norton Commando 750cc twin It's is in good condition starts easily and runs well. The tires are good as is the paintwork. The chrome parts do have rust spots coming through in places and the aluminium parts are tarnished and could do with good polish. It has front disc brake and rear drum brake. It has not been used on the road for few years now as dad struggles to start it, so hasn't really been ridden for while! It was completely stripped and rebuilt about 10 or so years ago when dad first bought it. He is the third owner and bought it off his brother in law who bought it when it was about 12 months old. The mileage is 12100 and is genuine 
The only bad part really is the left side exhaust flange which won't tighten up properly as the threads have gone in the head. The exhaust is good fit into the head so while it does leak some smoke out when first started once warmed up its fine and doesn't sound like it's blowing. 
After looking into the history of it, 77 commando should actually be an 850cc with rear disc brake, but after checking with dads brother in law it appears originally most of the bike was about 73/74 but he rebuilt it into brand new frame in 1977 and had to re-register it dated to the frame so it shows on the log book as new in 1977 (after looking into it we think it may be possible to get it changed and have the log book age related but if it was something you wanted to do you'd need to look into this yourself ) It also comes with the distinctive number plate VAL999S
