THE HAS HAD TO BE RELISTED DUE TO TIME WASTER WHO CLEARLY HAD NO INTENTION OF BUYING THE CAR. ALL POTENTIAL BIDDERS/BUYERS ONLY BID IF YOUR ARE SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING THE CAR. THOSE WITH FEEDBACK OF LESS THAN CANNOT BID. You are bidding for 2001 Ford Focus 1.4cl 3 door silver with only 83,115 mils on the clock. This is being sold as spares or repair project. The good points The mileage is low for its age. It has only had owners from new my father in law and currently my wife. It has been pet free and smoke free for all that time. It has been serviced at every interval and have bills/receipts for works carried out over the past 3-5 years.2011- 62954 miles service carried out similar time power steering sorted out cost £3252012 service done2013- 68627 service done 68975 miles the cam belt was changed as was the alternator belt and water pump6/2/14- rear brakes shoes replaced.5/12/14 -72081 miles service done6/2/15 rear tyres replaced and front brake pads replaced. The car has spare ignition key.The car is generally in good clean condition and is clean inside. It does have the usual slight dinks and dents associated with car that is almost 16 years old. There are very good tyres on the vehicle plus an unused Pirelli tyre as spareThe car is currently MOT'd until 12th Dec 2016. Mechanically the vehicle in my opinion is sound having done the most miles in year in 2016 since it was purchased which was around 9,000. The bad pointsWe tried to get the MOT done early so that we could sell it with 12 months on it however it failed!! The main issues were around quote from refusalCoil spring mounting corroded and seriously weakened nearside rear.Stop lamp not working offside rear.Brakes imbalanced across rear axle. The guy at the garage said there was quite bit of welding to do re the corroding and the bill for that plus the brakes was going to be around £400.So anyone with the know how could get this rectified or could just break it up for spares. The engine has only done just over 83,000 miles and should be good for few more. There are few dinks on the bodywork nothing too bad and the car does look pretty good polished up. Inside, some idiot (left car unlocked overnight) used the cigarette lighter to score couple of marks in the dash these can be seen in the pictures nothing too drastic. THIS VEHICLE WILL BE FINE TO DRIVE AWAY. Please read the important bits belowDo not bid on it unless you are serious about buying it. No time wasters please as they will be reported to ebay. The car is currently in Dalton in Furness which is approx miles from Barrow in Furness. It is approx 30 mins drive from junction 36 M6.Any questions please email me and will try and answer them.
