1980 FLH Classic shovelhead needs nothing! Real sweet ride.All this information is documented: mileage is documented. have the original bill of sale and every title of registration from day one. The bike was sold to US Marine in Abington, MA on August 8, 1980.Original mileage. Matching number bike, hard to find stock shovel as nice as this.The bike runs strong. The top end was done at 15,000 miles with Keith Black Pistons and an Andrew cam as well as many other parts needed to do this work.Gel battery. New starter and solenoid Nice rubber seals on each locking bag.Gel Saddleman seat.Hyper LED stop lights for safety on the side of the license plate bracket.Indian style light on the front fender. This is stock light on this model.CV carburetorSelf canceling turn signalsNice sounding mufflers that are not too loud, sweet potato, potato shovelhead sound.I run 60 Amsoil synthetic oil in the engine and 60 Amsoil synthetic gear oil in the tranny.There is an oil cooler and fan to keep it cooler and strong in hot weather. Never problem in traffic but if you want you can take this off, very easy to do.Brakes done at 21,146 with new brake line on the front.New front fork seals and oil changed at 21,462 mi.Oil and tranny oil changed at 23,000 mi.New tires, wheel bearings, clutch and clutch cable at 23,532.The frame will accept pogo seat if you want to set it up that way.The paint shows very well but it is (except for the bags which had professionally painted) 37 years old. There are some dripping spots of the front right fender from brake oil. The paint is NOT perfect.I am very particular about my bikes. take care of my stuff.
