Starts easily,runs well,handles nicely.This machine sat in basement somewhere in the upper Midwest from the mid 1980s until got it this year. It was assembled (incorrectly) for display or something and just sat until the owner passed on. Apparently the previous owner had the motor and transmission rebuilt but it didn't seem that it had been fired. It runs, shifts and drives very well and seems barely broken in. had the magneto recharged and rehab'ed by Joe Hunt. The S&S Super 81 looked brand new. Really nice vintage DID aluminium rims with new tires. Electrical system is fully functional.I saw no motor case damage or repairs of any sort.Matching belly numbers. Exact mileage is unknown. The fuel tank is OEM, really clean inside. Speedometer works, tachometer works however it needs the drive gear kit installed (still waiting for it to become available again).
