In 1966 was working for bank making maybe $500 per monthso was not in position to buy new Mustang even though they were selling new for $2500 or so. am now in a position to fulfill that long held desire and search extensively forwhat would consider new 1966 Mustang. I found this car in Texas and the pictures will show that this is as newa 1966 as you can get. The car was completelystripped down to the last nut and bolt and then rebuilt with anything questionablebeing replaced with new pieces or parts. I bought the car with the intent that it would be my casualdriver. The car certainly fills the billas new 1966 Mustang. The problem isthat am not the 20 something that fell in love with these cars. am old and while appreciate and love thesimplicity of the cyl with standard transmission, at 77 years old needpower brakes and steering and all the muscle assisting features that havebecome accustomed to. Since the car was restored it has small chip (about 1/8") on the tail light bezel.There are about 250 pictures trailing the car through its restoration.
