2004 BMW 1150RT Averages of 41 mpg. Bike weight: ~600 pounds
6 gears, each filled with sprints of "happy" to "thrill" within heartbeat. Still have the owners manual. Grip warmers (3 settings: off, warm, hot). Adjustable windshield by Cee Bailey's. Power port for battery tender, 2-ports for BMW-type connections (I think jacket warmers), 2-USB ports 12v power adapter for accessories. Includes new brake pads for front, rear was changed recently. Includes hard cases (2 sides, on top (can fit helmets)). Total of keys copies: main for top-case. Front tire 90%+ tread. Battery was replaced 2015. Fuel filter were replaced 2014.
This 2004 model was their first dual-spark, so it runs more efficiently than years prior.
It's not in pristine condition. I've dropped it on muddy Palomeres Rd on Feb, 2016. The upper fairing, stay and side fairing were damaged, however since replaced/repaired and runs just like it used to. This used to be darker blue/green color. It's been vinyl-wrapped gloss silver with charcoal accents. get 44 mpg on this if drive slow and cool... at my worst-behavior get low as 38 mpg.
I've ridden it in rain shine, handles the road just as it should.
Overall: Excellent sport-touring bike.
