For your consideration is this beautifully restored1955 Ford F1 Pickup.  It is running theoriginal 239 cu. in. Ford ‘Y’ block V-8 backed by the original 3-Speed manualtransmission (on the column, yes, on the tree).  Please note part of the ‘appeal’ to thecurrent owner was to keep the truck original. So it does NOT have power steeringor power brakes.NO TRADESRestoration took years and was completed in 2014 byan unknown North Carolina shop and sold to the current owner through dealer.According to the owner everything was rebuilt including the engine,transmission, rear differential, steering, and all of the wiring. Ownerswitched out the original 16” wheels for radials and 15” chrome reverse withthe Ford cap.  The truck runs and soundsgreat!!Some of the upgrades the restoration shop performedinclude conversion to 12-volt electrical system with an alternator. Additionally,an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, LED taillights and bed raillights (mounted onthe end of the bed). Every gauge function’s normally except the odometer. Allof the vents work smoothly, and the heater does blow hot.  An AM/FM/CD player was added by therestoration company with speakers mounted behind the seatback.
