UP FOR AUCTION ROLLING CHASSIS FOR PARTS OR REBUILD Harley Davidson Softail 1989, with 80 inch EVO Motor. Stored for 10 years. Not runningTitle and current registration til 03/12/2020 in hand. Bike was used daily and running well before it was put in storage for 10 years. Back then an eyecatch everywhere it was parked. Now it shows corrosion and light surface rust in many spots. The Bike was never down, crashed or involved in an accident. Changes to the Frame are the Big Swingarm to support the 8.5-9.5 rims and one piece rear fender was welded to the frameBike does not run now. Perfect for easy fix and or restoration as MAD MAX.... Rat-Bike. Sure got the looks with lot of good in it. For now it needs new Battery, Motor oil and Filter, Carburetor Tune up and new Fuel-line. The Fork Tubes show some surface rust and should be replaced. Change all fluids and you should be on your way. Nothing wrong with the aluminium extra wide Triple Trees, Fork Legs and Rims, ....those were all Top of the Line back than .....needs to be polished if you like em shine. The 15 inch aluminum rims came from an El Camino and have custom made hubs. Just the Wheels with the accompanied custom made licence frame itself swallowed more than $3000.00 bucks back in the days when this Bike was build. The 15 inch car rims now support the big fat looking tires. In the front (170 Metzler) and rear 200 Metzler). Even if used for other projects of yours, this Bike has still lot of good parts and an engine which needs not to much to run again. It also could be the restoration and makeover of your dream.
