 I am relisting this bike because the buyer did not pay, nor did they explain why. would like to give the 'buyers' info but am not sure if am allowed by eBay to do so. They have been reported to eBay and hopefully they will no longer be able to waste our time.
 In all fairness and respect to those who showed interest and those who made offers previously, am offering it under the same conditions as the previous listing.
 I do thank all who previously showed interest and welcome you back and look forward to hearing from you again.
  A 1947 Harley Davidson FL  74" Knucklehead engine in an original Harley Davidson raked/altered wishbone frame with clear title. It does not  appear to be recent 'throwback' attempt at '70's style chopper. All of the parts (except the battery) are made in the USA and the bike appears to be an original '70's chopper. The engine has been polished. The vin numbers are crisp on unmolested boss. The right side belly numbers are correct, the belly numbers on the left side do not appear to be there. They could have been 'polished off', or the left case has been replaced and the original vin numbers have been stamped in replacement case. As have been told and is described in Bruce Palmer III's restoration bible, cracked knucklehead left cases were not uncommon and H-D dealers would replace and re-stamp them with the original vin numbers using H-D stamps. After seeing the bike, older H-D mechanics believe this to be the case and the numbers are legitimate. The engine has great compression and runs fine and strong. It does not smoke, rattle, knock etc.. You can idle it down and it will lope just like they did back in the day when it was cool to do so.  It does have some slight oil 'seeping/misting' and the primary does spot a drip or two but it is really dry for knucklehead. It has a Zenith carb which seems to be operating good but could probably use an overhaul. The tranny and clutch perform good, with a belt primary drive. It still has volt electric system with new battery. The electrics are not finished. The Lucas headlights are not working (which is standard for Lucas), there is no tail/brake light set up and no horn. The frame has been heavily molded, the side car mounts appear to be there and molded over. The paint is cracking and chipping in places. It has 16'? or 18'? over girder front end of unknown maker with some surface rust. Original Invader wheels, 16' rear with some rust, 19' front with very little rust. The rear wheel has brake disc but no caliper, pedal, or linkage. It is possible that it was not intended to have, but then why the disc?  The front brake holds hydraulic pressure but has no stopping power. It appears the bike sat in the same position for some time and the disc is pitted and most likely the pads are ruined as well. The King/Queen seat has small scuff or what could possibly be cigarette burn. Authentic 70's choppers are few and far between. If didn't already have more projects than can handle would address the mechanical and electrical issues and leave it as the time capsule that it is. would hope that some one will do the same.  It has clear title and the price is $18,500.00 Or Best Offer. Payment is by Cashier's check or USPS money order. The title will be mailed to the buyer and the bike can be shipped when payment is confirmed, usually business days after the payment is deposited. The buyer is responsible for shipping and costs.
