2003 E46 M3 Coupe6-Speed Manual Transmission Black Sapphire over Black Leather179,509 miles as of 10/9 but like to drive it so that may increaseVIN: WBSBL93453JR20085$13,000, not looking for trades
Thinking about selling my M3 to make room for something new. Will attempt to leave no stone unturned as this is high mile vehicle but it has not been neglected in my care. What you see and read is what you get, it has been fantastic car to own and an absolute blast to drive.
What know about the car's history:
I found this car in January down in Atlanta with 174k miles and purchased it sight unseen. It had spent most of its life in PA and was serviced at Bimmerworks by previous owner before he moved to ATL. Although it had high miles it was completely stock other than the previous owner recently installing D2 coilovers (likely because stock shocks were beat). Carfax comes up clean but it looks like the driver's side rear quarter panel was damaged and replaced. It must have been highway car because there are many rock chips on front bumper, hood, and windshield. was told of the windshield marks are large enough to fail PA inspection.
When took delivery of the car did considerable amount of repair work which was performed by Import Intelligence (listed below). Gear One recently did an alignment for street driving. Since that work was completed, it has not given me any problems.
The Good:
Motor still runs well, makes great noise, and pulls hard. have replaced all of the old sticky interior parts with gucci smooth brand new stuff. The center console still needs to be replaced but comes with the car it don't get to it. Non-nav radio, has AUX input for your phone. All subframe work was completed, every tech who has seen the car says it looks solid.
The Bad:
Sunroof does not work – broken frame. Never bothered me and price prohibitive to repair. All wheels have curb rash. Paint reflects age front bumper is worn, many rock chips and scrapes, hood has rock chips, windshield has rock chips. Small rust spots on driver rear fender (see pics). TPMS light is on because don't know how to turn it off. Not sure if sensors are in wheels anyway.
On cold starts sometimes it won't turn over the first time you turn the key but always fires up the second time around. Drove it in cold all Feb and March 2016 and it was rock solid.

As you can see, this car is NOT perfect and I'm being very upfront about what it is. If you want jewel garage-kept perfect car this is not for you.
If you're looking for fun, affordable way to get into the manual E46 M3 game, this is great car for you. You don't have to worry about keeping it perfect, because it isn't, but it still has all the great characteristics of the E46 chassis. If you replaced all of the suspension bushings, it would make riot of track car as well. One of the most fun cars I've ever owned.
Car is currently financed with PenFed, can have local dealer handle the paperwork so title can just go from PenFed straight to you (or to your lender if you finance it) at my cost.
Vehicle is locaed in West Chester, Pennsylvania and welcome local meetups/test drives for serious buyers.
Drop me message if you have questions or would like to come see the car. work from home office so can be relatively flexible.
