Yamaha WR 250f YZ 250f 2006 Unregistered !!! To register, get certificate of conformity (COC) from Yamaha, which they will make available (google if you are unsure) and send it with DVLA v55 form and the correct fee and you will become the 1st owner !!!855 miles on the clock (as speedo cable was disconnected) I have owned this bike for the last months and it has never let me down once. It starts 1st time and rides mint. Electric start and Kick start I bought it to use after smashing my 2014 KTM 350 sx-f engine quarry riding. My 350 has since been repaired and so don't use the yammy at all now. I have been toying with the idea of selling her, so had HPI check done few weeks ago (please see pic) at my local KTM/Yammy dealer 'Red Line' for buyers piece of mind, then decided to keep her.Well... have holiday in few weeks and could do with the extra spending money so here she is, ready for new owner.
For those that don't know. The 2006 wr 250f is basically YZ250f. It has identical frame, engine, plastics, forks etc as the 2003-2005 YZ 250f so you can buy new full plastics set for £70 off eBay, and put yzf 250 decals on etc... This has had the AIS removed and Grey wire Mod done so the rev curve range is the same as the YZ250f. It's extremely quick.Also has the FMF titanium rear pipe (£400) I have few bikes, my boys too and don't own rubbish. They all get regular oil and coolant changes, and are always kept clean after riding, and dry stored.
There are few niggly bits wrong but thats it. Nothing that stops the bike from starting, working or having fun. She needs new clutch lever (currently tie wrapped and works spot on) £25, front brake lever snapped halfway down (still works with fingers perfectly, may have the spare somewhere as already bought one) £10. Needs new back tyre £40 and speedo cable £15. and front right fork protector £10.Exhaust Front pipe has couple of dings (like most bikes). replacement is £40 here on eBay. So she needs around £140 spent on her to be perfect !I believe have priced her to reflect this... These go for between £1800-£2000 I'll knock £500 off the going rate and you could be the 1st owner on the V5 !!!! 1st to see and ride (cash in hand) will buy !!!
