Garage clearout. 
I bought this as remembered the bloke buying it brand new and it's been in the village ever since. It was the talk of the village at the time as the legendary local lad, Mick Andrews was at his best and he rode Yams. had the intention of restoring it but due to work demands and needing some money for my other bike it's now up for grabs to the highest bidder.
I did have the original V5 but good old DVLA 'lost' it and to be honest, can't be bothered to go and get it sorted. do have photocopy of the one we sent to DVLA with the original owners signature on it. 
It runs really well. don't think it ever did much and was in his barn for considerable time. think he had ideas of using it again as he put new rear tyre on in the recent past but think he realised that he was getting on bit and never rode it as much as he expected. 
The tyres are off road tyres so not road legal but this is classic trails bike so it's better being used off road.
Plus points, it has an ali' tank (no rust!), wheels are good with ali' rims, exhaust is original and in good order. 
Overall, this is very good, honest, unmolested example of classic Yamaha TY250 Twin Shock.
