This machine was bought with all good intentions to compete in long distance trials.  The reality is that my focus has moved to TET and have subsequently bought machine capable of European travelling and long distance trail use.
During my ownership it has not been used.  Actually, it has been run around the garden only and, in typical TY175 style, stick it into third gear, tap it on and it just digs in and goes.  The performance of these bikes takes me back while and, if you know anything about TY175s, you can see why they took over in the 1980's as an excellent clubman trials bike.
This is two previous owner machine and is very nice.
I fitted an old pair of fork gaiters to protect the excellent stanchions.  You are welcome to peel these back and inspect; you are unlikely to find better.
Renthal bars, side action throttle, new cables and, rarely (I have owned few of these in past), it is genuinely one finger clutch.  If you've had anything to do with TYs in the past you will know exactly what I'm talking about.
It is running on pre-mix (all of the well sorted, crisp running TYs run without the auto lube system).
It has laid down (majesty style) rear Betor shocks.
Wider foot rests fitted.
If I'm being hyper critical, the paint on the fuel tank has started to craze it's possibly been repainted in the past but does not look bad and the seat has naff, after market cover fitted but replacement, authentic seat covers are not expensive and are readily available.
It has the speedo still which is unusual!  have photographed this; the mileage may or may not be accurate.  Who knows?
In short, nice, tidy TY that starts easily, runs very well, is road registered and basically good to go.
I forgot to mention that it has good Pirelli trials tyres fitted.
Inspection is welcome.  For clarity it is not new machine.  would always recommend inspection and that way you can satisfy yourself of its condition and running order.
For obvious reasons do not ask for test ride unless you bring money with you, show me full driving licence with proof of insurance and are prepared to sign disclaimer to say that you are test riding the vehicle on your own responsibility.
This is priced to sell.  Any enquiries, do not hesitate to message.

To answer enquiries have owned the machine three years.  It has been stored in my boiler room which is as dry, warm and cosy as it's going to get.
