For sale is my 1986 rd125lc mk2. bought this bike about month ago, with the intention of doing hybrid project, but change of circumstances has meant that won't have the time to do it. The bike starts, runs and stops and although it will need painting in the colour of your choice, the panels are all good. The tank has very minimal rust inside (see pics) and apart from some scratches at the back of the tank, is in very usable condition. The bike has no mot, it expired in September, but don't see reason why, it wouldn't pass, but I'm not mechanic. The engine has been changed at some point and the engine number does not match up with the one on the V5. will issue you with full receipt stating both engine and frame numbers and it is simple enough for you to notify dvla of the change of engine. The engine starts easy and runs fine, but does sound little bit rattly on the top end. Might be small ends, but please have listen and judge for yourself, because, as stated earlier, I'm not mechanic. The carb could probably do with setting up, cos there is slight hesitation when you first open the throttle and someone has put k&n type filter on it. The brakes work, but the front could benefit from bleed up and maybe new pads. Overall, think it is good base for restoration, or just tidy it up bit and ride it. think have covered everything, but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Please note that this bike has no mot, so you will need trailer or van to take this away.Cash on collection only please, from Edgware, North West LondonMany thanks for looking
