lovely matching numbers 1977 Bonneville T140V. Imported from dry state and re-commissioned. real head turner, even in Central London !
I have spent fortune on the bike but because of my work changing now do too many miles to be using classic bike exclusively.
There is not trace of smoke from the engine and she starts first or second kick every time. Chrome is good, tank is very fine metallic black with no marks, dents or dings.

Norman Hyde plate high performance clutch with new springs.
Boyer electronic ignition
2 brand new Amal (England, NOT Chinese copy) carburettors.

New rear light assembly (original Lucas can be included)
New used period correct Triumph clocks (these were not present when bought the bike)
Front hydraulic brake light switch (Brake light is only operated by rear pedal as standard)

I am shown on the V5 as the first and only owner. all duties paid.
I do not know the mileage but the engine is sweet, does not smoke at all, cold or hot and the bike runs beautifully.
With little cosmetic work (a bit of Weekend time) this bike could look close to concourse, have done all the expensive work!  I chose to leave it as is rather than try to make it look concourse but do have the decal set that can go with the bike.
Basically have had all of the work done that was required as well as some like the ignition to make the bike easier to live with. The handlebars are nice Steve McQueen style rather than the hanger type bars US models were often fitted with. will also include waterproof cover.
I can tell you from experience that it is not cheap to get these bikes into good order, have done it all and now she just needs polishing and using. You get the best of both worlds with these, speed gearbox (lever on the correct side), disc brakes but the lovely vintage look and sound...
