For Sale. fully restored 1961 Triumph 5TA.  I bought the bike in 2012,  it was much loved by it’s original owner and toured around Europe during the 1960’s. For the last three and half years it has been painstakingly restored by Chris at the Motorcycle Restoration Company. In that time the bike has had total rebuild. have long list from MRC of all the work they carried out but here are just some of the items. 
Piston Set, Re-bore, oil pump, clutch bearings, clutch plates, lucas stator, gear dox main shaft, main bearing bush, crankshaft ball main bearing, big end shells, sludge trap, rear shocks, rebuild front fork, new wheels.The V5 doc shows the bike as 490cc so suspect the engine was swapped from 500cc 5TA to 350cc 3TA engine at some point. We kept the 3TA bottom end and replaced the top end with 5TA head. The bike is working amazingly now and I’m 100 miles into running the engine in.
It’s such beautiful bike, really wish could keep it but the timing of our first child means someone else will get the pleasure of all our hard work. The full list of receipts shows the work carried out by MRC and the thousands of pounds spent on returning this great bike back to her former glory.  If you have any questions just ask, Im based in London but we can arrange for the bike to be shipped worldwide.
