SUZUKI GZ125HS MARAUDER: 2006 Bought by my partner with view to taking her test but she lost interest so it is sat in the garage. The bike has been well cared for and has lovely and useful set of hard panniers fitted, very unusual. Just fitted new DID chain and sprockets, oil and filter etc. Small light dent to the right side of the tank that is hardly visible. Above the in SUZUKI and shown in pic. Recently MOT'd so all ready to go! The pictures should show you all you need but am happy for you to ask questions and more than happy for you to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding. Vehicle needs to be collected from HR9: ROSS ON WYE within seven days of winning. Payment in cash. There is clearly no BUY IT NOW on the auction oterwise it would show one. Highest bid gets it. That's the way an auction works. PLEASE NOTE: If you bid then you are buying, not looking and ruining the auction for me and other bidders so suggest you come and see it first. If not then that is your choice. I have had too many timewasters before with vehicles who win the item and then decide to inspect it. You will not receive warm welcome if this is the case. Sorry to be tough but haven't the patience at my age. ;-) Ride Quality Brakes4 out of 5Low seat height makes it an easy bike to control, especially at low speed. Wide bars help more and the Suzuki GZ125 Marauder is pretty handy in town as result. The suspension’s basic and the tyres thin, but the Suzuki GZ125 Marauder will still lean over in corners until the footpegs scrape – something that happens later than on most cruiser 125s thanks to good clearance.Engine3 out of 5Air cooled, two valve, four stroke, single cylinder – engine’s don’t get much simpler. It only makes 12bhp – three less than UK learner law permits. But the Suzuki GZ125 Marauder is quite light so it’s not too slow off the line plus single makes batter low rev torque than twin. Build Quality Reliability2 out of 5Reliability is good unless the Suzuki GZ125 Marauder is neglected. Low oil levels can harm the engine rapidly. Suzuki don’t build the most corrosion resistant bikes and their budget options are worse still. Rust can appear quickly on chrome parts and ruin the Suzuki GZ125 Marauder's looks – plenty of cleaning and protective spray should keep it at bay.Insurance, running costs value5 out of 5There are cheaper learner-legal motorcycles than the Suzuki GZ125 Marauder – basic machines like Honda’s CG125 do the same job just as well for less money – but look plainer. Then there’s the Chinese Korean alternatives – cheapo and some look funky but it's always gamble. The Suzuki GZ125 Marauder provides good balance of pose, performance and economy for the price. 100mpg is quite achievable and running costs are low.
