Great example of an early ‘00 MKII Bandit 600. 

Tastefully modified with custom stainless steel slip on can (sounds amazing. Not ridiculously loud but nice low note. Loud enough.) LED tail lights (see pictures), R&G tail tidy with license plate light, rear hugger chain guard, Indicators from Triumph Speed Triple, polished engine covers. 

The coated swinging arm is really nice feature on this bike as the bandit’s were notorious for rusting. The coating was on the bike when purchased so cannot say with accuracy what the coating is, but it’s rust proof, easy to clean and looks great. 

The engine cover on the front right has small graze (see photos) from the first day bought the bike and dropped it. (Thankfully the first and only time, can blame this on the sudden jump from 120kg bike to 200kg bike..). I’ve put 18 months and nearly 10,000 miles on since then so can guarantee it hasn’t caused any internal damage. 

Bike is in really nice condition for it’s age. The tank has age related scratches and marks (17 year old bike) but still polishes up beautifully. The tank is black, but has very subtle blue fleks in the paint (only visible upon cleaning, polishing and direct sunlight!). 

The bandit takes motorway miles with ease due to is low centre of gravity. It’s definitely more enjoyable on the twisties and in the city though! This bike is at home in the city and makes commuting pleasure. 

There is currently 35kw 47bhp restrictor fitted to the carbs, with all paperwork to make it legal for use with an A2 license. If you don’t require this you can easily remove it by loosening the air box, pulling it back little and using magnet to remove the washers. rode the bike without restrictor for period of time upon purchase and haven’t found any significant change to performance. The bike still pulls beautifully. 

Both tyres have plenty of tread remaining. 
Bike could do with fluid changes soon (oil change brake fluid change). Brake pads have good amount of life left in them. 
MOT until May 2018. 

Bike also comes with dual dominator headlights (see last photo). Good quality headlights but weren’t bright enough for me, and personally not to my taste. 

The reason for sale is simply because I've upgraded to an FZ6 to allow for more comfortable distance riding. However, truth be told prefer the bandit’s looks and performance in the city considerably.
