Firstly sorry if you was viewing the previous listing, but the  e-bay pixies removed it for"improper content" Apparently ?.
Anyway here is my 2001 royal Enfield bullet 500 classic engine model
For sale as giving up riding as my shoulders dont work any more!.

BOUGHT from Howards of Cambridge in 2005 this is the bike have owned the longest as she always puts smile on my face.If im in mood go for ride always come back feeling better!
2001 classic engine kick start only ,four speed transmission  right side shift   1 up -three down,drum brakescruise speed 45-55 mphtop end 75 mphmpg 50/60 mpg
Always serviced by me every 1000 miles with new 20/50 oil and filter every time!

As you can see she has been modified quite bit- mainly for safety and reliability reasons but also cosmetically as you can plainly see! this came about when the original paint started to blister and peel off the tank at which point, with the input of my Grandson we  put her into the style you see today!.
Basics were re -painted in army green with  rattle can paint -not up to professional standards but came out quite well id say!.rocker covers painted with red heat proof paint to match the tank graphicsorange exhaust wrap on the down pipe
THE LIST OF EXTRA /MODIFIED PARTS IS EXTENSIVEi will list as much as can from memory but also have thick file containing EVERY invoice have ever spent on the bike which probably runs into thousands now plus old mots etc!right then extras- here goes!(NOTE many of these parts came from well respected royal-Enfield aftermarket parts supplier whom am not going to name as think this is what got the original listing removed by e-bay why do not know! but hay-ho)anyway here goes extras front to back then!

BIKE STARTS EASY, RUNS WELL, STOPS OK, EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD!mechanically very well looked after indeed
NOT SO GOOD BITS which always include to be as honest as can
As stated paint is rattle can not bad but not as good as proper spray job few chips and little rust showing through now (see pics 8&9)seat is bit worn (mainly due to next doors cat who seems to think its her bed)wheels have few rusty areas but not to drasticframe paint starting to wear bitPlease bear in mind this is twenty year old Indian copy of an old design do not expect it to be like new its genuine bike with real patina treat it as such please!
