Hi there,for sale is my VFR 400 minimalist cafe racer. bought this bike end of last winter from experienced engineer, when it was just finished and since then rode it for about 200 miles! Selling as ride my other bikes and this one sadly does not get used. Starts and runs VALID MOT till FEBRUARY 2018,V5 in my name.VFR 400 399cc valve, gear driven cams. It runs well with almost no mechanical noise except for the trademark gear whine. would benefit from Dyno at some point in future to make it proper pocket rocket.Alloy box section frame and swing arm, twin front discs brakes on spot.  Original bike was Japanese import, built in 1987 imported to UK 1997. MODIFICATIONS AS FOLLOWS:Engine has been serviced, filter, clean oil, new iridium plugs, new heavy duty clutch springAll control cables replaced,throttle, clutch, speedo etc. Horn is new. The gears change has been altered to race bike set up with reverse non linkage lever... you shift 1st UP and then down basically. The gearing has been altered lowered the gearing for more fun. The engine has new 14 tooth sprocket and rear sprocket modified Tallon alloy 52 teeth) with 520 chain conversion. Converted from monoshock to twinshock.Wheels stripped, blasted and powder coated. Custom stainless steel unit with alloy tail piece.Custom made air filter. Aluminium fairing and side panels with carbon fibre extensions. The fuel tank is plastic with old skool on off switch and handmade filler cap. Stainless and carbon fibre fork brace. Stainless steel straight through Moto GP spec exhaust nice racing sound". Projector head lamps, led rear lights, indicators flash bit fast, but sailed through MOT.  Battery new and has optimate charger lead on it. I recommend to charge her on regular basis for optimal performance. (does not like to stand around for longer periods and won't idle well when not charged up) -Maybe new or better rectifier/regulator would help, but never bothered me and had blast with her. The stickers have been selected to match the theme of bike from 80's Honda endurance bike) It has got 53000ish km on clock, so about 33000 miles. It hasn't got any flashy cosmetic, it's raw and beautiful with bit patina. Looks superb in flesh.   This is one off, so NO WARRANTY implied CASH ON COLLECTION. I'm open to offers as have got couple of projects at the moment.No test rides without cash in my hand. You will need at least small van van to pick.Can be ridden with proof of insurance,bear in mind this bike is not uncomfortable for little tough racer, but it is no tourer and the exhaust is... well racing.Check out my other items.
