Here is my Moto Guzzi Mk Le Mans.  I have owned it for number of years and have decided to reluctantly sell it as it is too heavy for me to manoeuvre about following shoulder injury.   am long term Guzzi enthusiast and member of the Guzzi owners' club.
I originally bought it in pieces, it had been dry stored in the UK for many years and put it together and registered it in 2011.  The engine number is VE76784 and have checked all the engine parts and can confirm that they are all 100% Mk Le Mans.  The recorded mileage is very low; there is no documentation to confirm this but there is very little sign of wear on the bike which added to the fact that most of the parts are original would suggest that the mileage is correct.  Just look at the condition of the seat and see how little wear it has had.  The engine is very tight and the bike runs very well.  The frame is bit of an anomaly;  it is number 100814 which when came to register it turned out to be from 1975 bike, probably an early 850T.  It is an early Tonti frame with the lugs for the steering dampers just like the Le Mans 1.  As an reg bike it gets the purists going but it does mean that it is now registered as historic vehicle with no tax to pay!
The general condition is original unrestored.  It is working bike rather than show bike.  The switch gear, indicators, exhaust system and seat are all original (and yes do have the seat strap) and it has the original carbs.  I have upgraded the brake hoses to Goodridge stainless and have fitted Hagon shocks.  The only pattern part is the fairing which is from Gutsibits.  The perspex screen is original.  The eagle eyed amongst you may spot the Spada front mudguard this is to accommodate slightly wider than standard Bridgestone Battlax tyres which have fitted.  I have the original mudguard which will be included in the sale.  The paintwork is bit scruffy in places.  There are some light rust spots on the tank which have not rotted through but will require light filling before respray.  It has high performance battery fitted.
The bike starts on the button and runs fautlessly.  I rode it from London to Somerset and back the other week and it did not miss beat.  Whoever buys this bike will get thoroughly sorted running bike which can be used as it is, or it could be light restoration project which will not present any headaches.
To be collected from east London, or could be delivered within reasonable distance please enquire before bidding.  Viewing is possible.  The winning bidder should pay £100 by paypal within 24 hours of the close of auction, with the balance payable in cash only.  Due to the age of the bike it will be sold as seen with no returns.
Thanks for looking and please feel free to send any questions you may have.
