100% original A8 beside the A1 the rarest 900R in europe in very clean state with good original exhausts, original color onpaintset and wheels with original, long, uncutten rearfender and the original clear windshield. This bike is not pristine, have smallmarks due age and use over the years here and there but is far overrage from the usual used 900R's on the market. Bike is in such good statethat decided to leave her so original than possible. The marks are minor and the appearance is really good.
Due tighter emmision regulations in the EU in 1989 the 900R from the A7 model got other carbs, airbox with just intake and slightly longermufflers. The worsest change was the carbs and the restricted airbox. This results in significant loss of power and even more important -a much slower throttle response. Thats why this bike will be equiped with ZRX carburetor and the airbox with air intakes from the formerGPZ900R models. equiped couple 900R's with this combination and the result is truly feelable. The engine revs free like hell, you get very fastthrottle response and the typical powerhole between 4500-5500  rpm is nearly eliminated. The ZRX carbs need special jets to work smoothly in the 900R.Need me lot's of time and carb exchange work to find the perfect setting but found it and the power and behaviour is not comparable with "normal"900R. So you get true performance bike without changing anything in the engine.
The seatcover is new becouse of the 900R cover sickness cracking between seatedge and sidecover.
I changed near all bolts, axles and springs with original rezinked ones becouse they get grey after 30 years and the footpeg holders clamp from thefront mudguard are professionally polished to give this bike the "i" drop to her overrage state.
This is original A8 with original A8 manual. Many red/black A7's get sold as A8 but they are 99% A7's so please check if the frame number is above0056001! Only than it's original A8! Red A8's been sold to some other markets on the world and had in opposite to A7's polished rim horns. So don't getfooled if you're looking for the genuine last european 900R.
Bike been deregistered in 2004 und sits since than in heated garage. Brought smoothly back to life.
Very good history:
1st owner from new, born 1963 sold her year later to2nd owner, born 1963 and he sold her months later to 3th owner, born 1965 who sold this bike to the 4th and last owner years later in 1997 to4th owner, born 1962 who kept her between December 1997 until May 2016, so bike been in one hand the last 19 years!
Bike been never ridden in winters and you see that clearly on all surfaces. Original paint is glossy, the black chrome on the exhausts is verynice. etc. Bike comes with original title and original A8 manual. She got big makeover big maintenance now and all fluids and filters get changed incl.cooling fluid, fork oil, forkseals new dustseals, new brakepads on all brakes and valve adjustment that you can ride her hasslefree until next maintenance intervall of 10.000 KMs.
The bike got's brandnow tires front and rear. This have scratches on the bellypan and a small crack on the right sidecover whats typical for the 900R's, but live it's really nothingmajor and don't justify new paint and it spoiling the extreme originality of this bike. Whats not typical for 900R that even the inside sidecover nipples are NOT broken on this one.
