Reluctant sale of my lovely XR650R, simply due to lack of use due to the arrival of new baby.
In very good condition and mostly original, doesn't appear to have had much off-road use, if any. Kick start only and, contrary to popular belief, very easy to start once you know the technique (happy to demonstrate to winning bidder if required). 
Starts easily, even after weeks weeks sitting idle in my garage and runs brilliantly, with tons of power. If you are looking at this bike you will know how ridiculously capable they are, off road and on the tarmac. 100mph on dirt bike and 300+ mile days? No problem. These bikes are known to be utterly bombproof and this one feels tight and rapid.
Bought from knowledgeable XR owner enthusiast and it had just been serviced with new Honda filter oil change, plus valve clearances checked, this was less than 500 miles ago. New swingarm bearings, linkage bearings, new chain slider fitted also. Everything works as it should and comes complete with box of spares as shown in the last photo (front mudguards, original rear light unit, indicators, sump guard, sprocket, levers, hand guards Honda manual). Personalised XR number plate included with the bike it looks great with it. Aftermarket LED stop light fitted but original included. Standard exhaust, sounds deep and rumbles but not silly and rear shock recently pulled and had spring stripped and cerakoted, looks brand new now and works perfectly.
I have other bikes too (none of which are getting used much either!) plus the requirement for sensible family car means this sadly is not getting the use planned or that it deserves.
24,000 miles, which equates to around 1300 per year, and nothing for these motors, Honda built them to last. Take look at any BAJA 1000 video on youtube if you have any doubt.
Overall, very good condition, but this is an 18 year old enduro bike so does have some age related marks and tiny nick in the seat, all parts are very cheap to replace on ebay, but why would you, it's dirt bike! Quadlock phone mount NOT included, this has been removed, although thoroughly recommend them!
That said, she is fully road legal and registered to me at my home address (although stored in my garage around 1/2 mile away under lock and key). Mot runs until 22nd September 2021, tax obviously not transferable. Comes with steering lock keys.
Listed with sensible reserve and no test rides without full asking price in cash in my hand, proof of licence insurance to ride other bikes and no, will not show you where my garage is, will only meet at my home address by prior arrangement. If you are genuine you will understand.

These bikes are rocketing in price and may regret selling her but cannot justify her sitting and gathering dust until the baby is grown up enough to take himself out all day every weekend and can actually get to go green laning/TET on her, so it's your opportunity to! 
Bike starts, runs rides perfectly but she is 18 years old and whilst bombproof, no warranty is implied or included.
