Up for sale is Honda Deauville NT 650 1998 purchased by me early April this year as an upgrade for my very tired work comute bike But, my car has died so unfortunately have to sell this to by new to me car. The bike is all good, new tyres last year, new stainless pattern exhaust couple of years ago, Full MOT no advisories, two sets of keys, origonal tool kit and everything works as it should. Extras with the bike are two wide pannier box lids although the wrong colour, manual type cruise control devise, and it has 12v outlet socket fitted inside the LH cubybox along with an outside tempreture gauge again controlled from switch inside the LH cubybox, heated grips and beeper connected to the indicators. Nice big removable givi top box with brake light fitted with contacts on the base unit so no wires to unplug. The general condition of the bike is good but obviously at 21 years old it has some rust especially on the swing arm and handlebars this is just surface rust there is no rot. The paintwork has lots of marks and the engine paint has long gone but it is silver though the wrong shade never bothered me but could be bettered with good clean and polish. Had alot of questions regarding rust on the rear swing arm. The swing arm has surface rust but no rotten areas at all it just needs cleaning and painting although without doing any of this it will take alot of yyearsto rot through its just called being honest with the discription. Thanks If you don't know these bikes they go forever water cooled twin cylinder ideal for commuting as the fairings give great protection from the elements but also excellent as tourer. To sum up. This has both side and main stands fitted, panniers with the larger touring lids as well as the standard ones fitted, two cubby boxes in the fairing one is lockable, nice big top box with brake light built in and easily removable turn the key and lift the handle) good lights 12v aux socket, external temp gauge, heated grips, cruise control devise, beeping indicators, very comfortable upright riding position, nearly new tyres good brakes (Brembo) stainless exhaust, fantastic on fuel and easy to maintain. This has passed the MOT on Saturday and expires 25th june 2022 with No advisories so ready to ride away.
