Honda CR500
Great bike and performs very well. got the bike from California imports in need of restoring and it did not run at the time.The bike was stripped down to the last nut and bolt including the engine and restored to level to be used not show pony.
The bike was completed beginning of summer 2018. The bike has been thoroughly cleaned and lubricated after each use.  The bike has been used approximately two times month since being rebuilt for pleasure purposes only not competition use.Below is list of new and used parts used when the bike was rebuilt.  
Engine first.New clutch basket and pushrod.New clutch plates.New clutch springs.New combined clutch and water pump casing and the removable clutch cover casing.New Piston, rings, gudgeon pin and small end.New gaskets and all oil seals.New radiators.New cooling system hoses.Used but now in very good condition Keihin 39mm carb that sonic cleaned and fitted all new jets and needle.
Frame and suspension.Frame powder coated red. Still has the frame plate attached The frame has two patches welded on the underside of the bottom frame rails and is solid. Not bad for 33 year old crosser.Fork internals rebuilt and reassembled correctly with new seals and bushes.New tapered steering bearings.New suspension linkage bearings.New rear suspension seal head and the spring powder coated blue.New swing arm bearings.New fork gaiters.New seat cover.
Exhaust.FMF gnarly gold series with an unknown make silencer. This exhaust was already fitted to the bike.
Wheels.Replaced the wheels with good used set and are straight with no flat spots. The original wheels had rotted on the inside of the rim and was only visible once the old tyres were taken off.New tyres. They do show some wear now though but plenty of life left in them.New wheel bearings
Body panels.I have not replaced any of the body panels. They are what was on the bike when bought it. The rear mudguard and two side panels are original Honda items and already had some damage to them. One of the side panels has had to be held on with zip tie as the mounting hole had previously been broke out. Fuel tank is original Honda. The Radiator covers, Front Mudguard and number board are assumed to be aftermarket items as they have no Honda part numbers. 
Brakes.New front discCaliper stripped cleaned and reassembled with new seals.New braided brake line in red.New shoes in back brake.
Other stuff.New levers.New clutch cable.New throttle cable.
This is good bike and have been up front with the description. Its no show pony but very good and capable bike that is more than presentable and will please the new owner. It is recommended that when you start the bike you wear good sturdy motor cross boot and hold on tight when you first open the bike up. The CR 500 is not like the soft four stroke crossers it is rather brutal with it's power delivery and very rewarding.
