Honda CB 400/4 super sport F

I have had this motorcycle since 1993 really don't want to part with it but have come to the point where decided probably never ride it again, it's shame to late sit in my shed unloved. Really needs someone to look after and love it again. really don't know what it's worth so I've put buy now price £2500 and probably selling this to cheap, make me an offer and will consider as I'd like to see someone are riding and enjoying it again. Is 400/4 was originally blue thought it was horrible colour so sprayed it metallic blue racing green, nowadays you can buy all the transfers to be placed on tank and side panels off eBay. When paint metallic blue racing green that must've been about 1996, also had the little rear rack made so can place tent and all my camping gear on the bike.

Will need new battery on the front brakes sorting out as the hydraulics leaking. It will probably also need new exhaust silencer.The Front forks are good and not leaking.The Chrome work is pitted as you can see the photographs that was soaked in WD-40 11 years ago, think will clean up.Three point engine bars makes the frame far more stable as have had other 400/4.It has also stood in the shed on its centre stand and have occasionally pump the tyres up, so there is no cracking on the side walls tyres.I have had it connected up to battery and have put some fresh petrol in it and had engine running, this involves lot of jumping at the kickstart with the ignition off and turning out with the start to make sure there was plenty of oil on the cams. The engine runs beautifully as also have is occasionally running to make sure it's all okay.Electrics good and do have the original indicators and Front mounting bracket if you want to book back to factory.The indicators are aftermarket Yamaha SR 400 bought from the motorcycle shop in Nigata Japan.It is also fitted with MetzlerTyres ME77 if remember, front and rear.
The only thing it does not work and is never being there is the steering lock but who in their right mind would use the steering lock to lock bike there is in Oxford lock mounting plate behind the numberplate.
I will be ashamed to let it go, but whoever buys this please look after, I'd like to go to good home where it would be enjoyed again. It is very much for sale
