Hi all before start ,if you are rivet counter then this bike may not appeal to you. It is with much regret that have decided to sell this bike but due to house purchase sadley it is up for sale. Where do start this bike was built to compete in pre 65 scrambler events and was used for that purpose before purchased it two years ago. It is 1958 a10 frame with 1960 a7ss engine verified buy the bsa owners club. This engine has had lot of work done to it including needle roller big end conversion and end oil feed, crank shaft reground with new big end shells and balanced. thunder conrods very recent rebore +20 with new 8to pistons and rings. New original camshaft,alloy cylinder head rebuilt with seats valves springs and guides new amal monobloc carb magneto was rebuilt before purchased it new spring type clutch With new primary chain and sprockets oil pump rebuilt and upgraded .due to the style of this machine it has now lighting system charging on it apart from small loom made with 1.5v aa batteries to power the stop and tail light and two running lights on the front number board. The frame has the rear loops cut of as you would expect for the type of use it was built for. It has central oil tank with the gauze filter but also has spin on type oil filter on the return side back up to the tank. It has aluminium petrol tank from b50 or triumph but not sure which. It also has 18 inch ad rear hub with excellent 18 inch rear rim 21 inch front rim single sided which may be gold star units but again am not sure. The forks  think are long Norton road holder forks. This bike was built buy elderly gentleman who put it together well do have some history on the bike of who put it together etc. All engine work was carried out by srm engineering.  When bought it it was not registered but after month or two got it registered with the dvla on age related plate as historic vechile displaying the correct frame and engine numbers on the v5 so mot ant tax exempt. Now this bike is not perfect and will require future work especially on front wheel, brakes, and gearbox Regrettable sale any further information you require please get in touch and will get back to you as soon as can. ALSO HAVE NUMBER OF SPARES FOR THE ENGINE INCLUDING VERY GOOD CRANKSHAFT AND SET OF BARRELLS AND PISTONS ALSO THE ORGINAL CONRODS WHICH ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. ALSO 18 INCH WM3 QD REAR WHEEL IN GREEN IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. SPARE CAM SHAFT AS FOR THE GEARBOX IT HAS REVERSE CAM PLATE SO GEARS ARE DOWN AND UP SELECTS AND WORKS FINE BUT WILL NEED GOING THREW. THIS IS VERY QUICK BIKE FOR THE AGE AND AT THE MO IT IS ON ROAD GEARING ON 19 PRIMARY 43 CLUTCH 21 GEARBOX AND 47 TOOTH REAR AND GOES WELL ON ROAD WITH THIS SET UP. BUT WITH OFF ROAD GEARING THIS WILL BE EXTREMELY QUICK. ALSO THE EXHAUST IS HIGH LEVEL SIEAMESE TRIUMPH UNIT ADAPTED TO FIT INSIDE THE FRAME WITH ALLO TRIALS SILENCER. AGAIN AM SURE HAVE MISSED THINGS BUT ANY QUSETIONS PLEASE ASK, ALL PARTS ARE NEGOTIABLE SEPERATLEY UNLESS THE PRICE IS SATISFACTORY, BUT AM IN NO RUSH TO SELL AND IF IT DOSENT MAKE THE RESEVE WILL KEEP HOLD OF HER AND CARRY ON.
