This auction is for BMW R1100S Sport which is special model based on R1100S with factory fitted wider rear wheel and tyre, slightly longer rear monoshock to raise the rear, quicken the steering and allow more lean angles, plus steering damper.  This bike also has BMW extras of Laser under seat exhaust, braided brake lines, carbon rear hugger, carbon engine valve covers and carbon belly pan that are all fitted to the Boxer Cup bikes.  The carbon front mudguard is standard as is the removable solo seat cover.  It has not got ABS.
The flat twin oil-head engine is tuned version of the 1100 with higher compression etc mated to six speed close ratio gearbox then on to the paralever rear end with single sided swing arm.
There's plenty of grunt and power, and it handles really well.  This bike is likely to become classic especially with it being Sport model with BMW extras.
This bike has an excellent Michelin Pilot rear tyre and new matching front tyre.
James Sherlock BMW bike specialists have just replaced the paralever bearings and trunnions.  They also changed the engine, transmission and diff oils, and fitted new oil filter.  There are new spark plugs, air filter and fuel filter in the tank.  The valve clearances have been adjusted.  It has new front pads and pins on replacement original discs with new bobbins and fitting kit, and new rear pads and pin. have just spent £756 on it!
It had fresh MOT test on 17/4/2019.
It has done 47660 miles and V5C is in my name.
Plastics, screen and black paint are good with no real damage except some small scratches on the r/h rear small panel as shown in photo.  This bike has been ridden and so has some oxidation on engine and aluminium fork parts etc, some minor surface rust in few places, small split on the seat and worn grips that no longer heat, all as shown in the photos.  Please study the photos carefully and viewings are welcome so you can see what you may be buying if you bid.  If you win the bidding you will be required to pay me the winning bid amount before taking the bike.  I really do not want to be messed around please.  The bike is at my friend's secure yard at Somerton, Somerset.  Ask any questions and will answer as best can.
