The new categories will replace the current format of and C. The following category will now be used for motorcycles that are able to be returned to the road:   N: Non-structurally damaged repairable   The definition of the above salvage category can be found on the ABI’s website, please use the website link below.   What to do if V5 (Log book) is not present: Applying for replacement V5 is very straight forward and inexpensive. You can apply for replacement V5 in your name by completing “V62” form (Available online or from your local post office). Fill out the form with all of the relevant information and enclose cheque for £25, once sent to the DVLA they will issue you with new V5 (Normally within to weeks).   What does “write off” on HPI register mean? If vehicle is registered as “write off”, it means that it has been involved in an incident (normally either an accident or theft). It has subsequently gone through an insurance claim process and has been deemed uneconomical to repair. All bikes can go back on the road once they are repaired and made road worthy safe. The extent of damages to vehicles can vary so please study the advert images carefully.   Contact details Opening times Due to new eBay policies we are no longer permitted to display contact information in our advert text. If the payment is not made within this time, then an “unpaid item dispute” will be opened against the buyer. Once opened, the buyer must pay for the item within days. If payment is still not made within this time then the item will be re-listed. We accept PayPal, debit/credit card and cash on collection. £10 per day, and per bike, storage fee will apply if bike is left on-site for more than week after payment is received. The bike(s) will not be released until storage fees are paid. If the buyer decides to cancel after storage fees have been applied, the fees will be deducted from the refund total.    Terms conditions: Running: Please note that if the advert specifies the bike as “running”; this means that it was started and ran at the time of inspection. The time between inspection and the advert being placed varies and we cannot guarantee that the motorcycle will start and run upon collection/delivery. “Running” in no way implies or imparts any guarantees as to the mechanical integrity of the motorcycle.   Non-running: If we have advertised it as “non-runner” this could be due to several things, e.g. old fuel, flat battery, mechanical damage, damaged wiring or ignition etc. (this is not an exhaustive list) We will try our best to image any relevant damage to the above; however we will not respond to any questions asking why it does not run. Mileage on speedometers of used Motorcycles may differ from actual distances covered and must be disregarded. All of the Bikes are sold “as seen” with no warranties implied or given and it is your responsibility to assess the damage via the advert images; we will always try our best to image all of the damage, however we cannot be held responsible for any damage missed. Please note that we will expect purchasers to provide photo proof of identity (photo card driving licence or passport) when collecting. We will need to take copy of your photo ID on collection for our records. If you are arranging courier to collect the vehicle then you will need to message us with picture of your photo ID.
