You can apply for replacement V5 in your name by completing “V62” form (Available online or from your local post office). Fill out the form with all of the relevant information and enclose cheque for £25, once sent to the DVLA they will issue you with new V5 (Normally within to weeks).What does “write off” on HPI register mean?If vehicle is registered as “write off”, it means that it has been involved in an incident (normally either an accident or theft). It has subsequently gone through an insurance claim process and has been deemed uneconomical to repair. All bikes can go back on the road once they are repaired and made road worthy safe.
