1999 Honda Deauville 650 for auction for spares or repair. I've owned this bike since 2011 and commuted 60 miles day all year round. It has been great commuter it is very comfortable and good on fuel. It also has very good weather protection. It has done 117000 miles. It is VERY scruffy,  the paintwork is faded, it looks worse than it looks in the photos. The exhaust has blow, although it made it through the last MOT. Most of the metalwork is discoloured or rusty. There is also lots of lacquer peel. Some of the body panel fasteners are snapped, and there are lots of marks and scratches.  The pannier boxes do not open. I've recovered the seat so that is in good condition.
The bike has been very reliable,  it has been regularly serviced with oil and filters, plugs and air filter every 8000 miles. However recently it has started overheating. So please treat this bike as spares or repairs. It does start and ride, but would need the cooling system engine looking at before regular use.
It has MOT until the 25th Aug 2019. V5 is in my name and address.
On the plus side it has had new clutch plates at about 85000 miles, and new front disks and fork seals quite recently. It would make good source of spares for keeping another Deauville on the road. It also has Oxford heated grips. The front tyre is quite new, and the rear tyre is worn but useable.
I've bought newer bike, so this bike is for auction with no reserve. It can be ridden away, but bear in mind it may overheat if ridden long way. Viewing welcome.
