Here we have very rare opportunity to purchase an original and sought after 1989 Honda Pilot FL400 two stroke buggy, im sure if you are reading this you are aware of the following that these buggy's have.
I purchased the pilot from guy who brought it in 1990 when it was year old, it was then put in storage in the early 90s until week ago when was contacted and offered to purchase it, all the previous owner has done to it is put four brand new tyres on as the old ones were badly perished, after going over the buggy and having owned few in the past it seems it is all original and have to say presented in very nice condition.
All plastics are good apart from a  5p size chip and few scuffs as you would expect, all parts on the buggy as far as im aware are original steering wheel seat, harness shocks, gearbox, clutch etc, all stickers and numbers are present. 
Mechanically the buggy is great starts on the button engine is very crisp as mentioned have owned few of these in the past and on hearing this run and having go it's clear that the pilot has done very little work in its life, the brakes including hand brake are perfect all lights work including on the steering wheel, foward and reverse select seamlessly.  the engine bay and undercarriage are clean and tidy also.
Normally when listing these sort of items theres normally something missing to mention but unless I've missed something absolutely everything is there, there is even brand new oem spare drive belt strapped to the inner side see pics, only thing would say being critical is the red  upright pipe that connects to the air intake is not oem but looks good none the less, and battery needed jumping, will charge before auction ends but please assume it may need new one.
to recap lovely iconic appreciating classic buggy that can be used as it was ment to be or put away for many more years and will only go up in value especially in this condition, having said that please bear in mind it is 30 years old and there is some age related marks here and there but original patina is what makes these worth what they are worth.
No reserve auction there is no buy it now please do not ask.
