This very much sought after tax exempt 1974 Suzuki GT185L has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 6149 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

The single most important purchase for classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be commercial venture or just hobby interest it all starts here!.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike is complete very original. It has obviously stood while so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, seat cover is perished fuel tank is mucky inside.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs, brake plate, disc, caliper working master cylinder. Forks yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight hangers. Instruments switches look ok. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhausts are original solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. Indicators are tidy. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great has compression – When we hooked it up to good battery fed it few squirts of ether it fires tries to start run but it,s obvious the carbs need attention.....don't fret we didn't run it long.
