HONDA CB350 1970Here is my CB350 K2 built in May 1970 and registered withDVLA as 1970 model. MOT TAX FEE EXEMPT. Selling as rarely use it and it will benefit from regular use.
I bought it due toits history, It is an American import, but what makes it exclusive is the factthat it has parking permit attached to the frame down tube stating it wasbased at Edwards Air Force base,(for those of you who are unaware of the significance of this, Edward Air Force Base is the 412th test wing, it plans and probes flight and ground testing of aircraft’s armament systems, software and components.“ Edward Air Force Base(EAFB) is the second-largest air force base in the US and features the longest runway in the country.” It  offers training on conducting flight tests to pilots, navigators, and weapon system officers.
Who knows who theoriginal owner was but it is nice to speculate, “Top gun?” I have ridden it outon sunny days along with my pal who has Suzuki 250, great fun. 19000 miles onthe clock but cannot confirm if this is accurate, all electrics work, instantstarter when cold or hot if used regularly.
The bike has had sympathetic restoration where needed butretaining all its original character (including the frame), the tank has asmall dent on the lower white part but is unnoticeable unless you really lookfor it, resprayed in candy apple red and white all panels were resprayed to thecorrect colour white, overall condition in my opinion is very good with strongframe which has never been painted. It has good seat with replacement coverwith no tears, original grips and cables. For its year all the chrome is inexcellent condition with the exception of slight corrosion on the frontmudguard and some light tarnishing on the rear wheel but nothing to detractfrom the overall look of the bike. This bike has been well cared for in myownership which is reflected in its condition.when purchased changed all fluids including the brake fluid and thefork oil, new chain, battery and it has very nearly new tyres and rides beautifully.Along with the bike, there is spare almost complete engine/gearbox (currently seized)with reputedly 9k miles on it, carburettors in bits and various other parts nowbecoming harder to get as source for spares. These bikes are nowvery sought after and near impossible to find in such nice usable condition alongwith its impressive history.Viewing highly recommended, please email to arrange. If you bid without viewing and win the auction, cannot beheld responsible should the bike not be as you expected. No overseas bids, ithas only just come from the USA!!Deposit of £100 non-refundable immediately on close ofauction and bank transfer, cleared cheque or cash on collection only.
