Welcome to the auction of my lovely Triumph TR6 650 Scrambler. It has really interesting history and started life as Kenyan Police bike! Eventually it was bought by an ex-pat who re-patriated it and restored it. Over the last few years have continued is restoration to its current guise in the TR6 scrambler trim. This has included:
New Emgo heavy gauge 1/2 gall US spec tank (not the Indian copy)New high level pipes with inserts to make the sound not too loud!New Morad aluminium rims with stainless spokesNew Heidenau Trail tyres New clock bracket New high rise bars grips New headlamp tail lamp New aluminium mudguardsNew battery Rebuilt carb new filter
It’s also had engine work including rebore, pistons, rings, head rebuild. Jetted correctly and running very well. No smoke etc. There is of course the odd drop of oil from time to time, so you know there’s some in there and it’s real British bike! Comes with lots of history. 
The bike rides really well but isn’t getting the use it deserves due to my other classic bikes. recommend any genuinely interested buyers to come and view if seriously interested. Originally Kenyan Police bike, made in 1967 and registered in 1969. The Kenyan Police sold it in 1983 by auction. It was then sold again in1996 to the person who started its restoration. It was then sold again in 2000 and its restoration continued. The bottom end was then completely overhauled, regound crank, bearings etc. The bike came back to the UK in 2003 and more work done in 2016 including the top end, new pistons, rebore, head rebuild etc. have completed the resoration in yhe last few years. There is lots of history to support this. The frame no is TR6PDU5926X, Engine is TR6P5927X (X being the same number). The frame number is referenced in most of the African paperwork. V5 present.
