i am selling my Red Golf because have bought myself an older and sportier model. It is sold for spares or repair because the clutch needs attention. was driving it until yesterday when bought my new Golf, therefore, it is DRIVABLE. It is fun car to drive, economical to run and nippy on the motorways. 
But, let's be clear, you are not buying pristine old car! There are dents and scratches that come with well-used car. Look at the pictures and ask as many questions as you want before coming to see it or even bidding for it. 
Visiting the car before the auction finishes during the pandemic – It is possible to view the car before the auction finishes prior to arrangement. Due to the pandemic, only one person per visit is invited to see the car. Wear gloves and face mask. At this stage, note that there is NO TEST DRIVE POSSIBLE because of the social distancing issue and because have transferred the insurance to my new Golf. ll run the engine/open the bonnet etc for you. 
Buying the Golf after the auction finishes during the pandemic – As above, wear your gloves and face mask, no test drive possible. maximum of people to come to pick it up if you are driving the Golf back home. It is about ¼ tank full. Bring your driving license for the logbook details which will send to the DVLA. Keys will be handed to you once the payment is made in cash and receipt is signed.
