Here for sale with heavy heart is my beloved Polo, for the past and half years this car has been my pride and joy. Throughout my ownership have taken it to various shows where the car is nothing less than constant head turner and would cost three times the price I'm asking to build today. Unfortunately have got new job where will no longer be living at home so it seems such shame to have the car sat on the driveway doing nothing when somebody else could be enjoying it. The spec list: Full respray in 2016 in VW Cornflower Blue, the engine bay is still black however all the door shuts are blue. This was professional paint job to an excellent standard and have been told that this would have cost around £5000. Rare jap spec rear bumper.Boot handle has been smoothed.Side repeaters have been smoothed. Front bumper plate recess has been smoothed.Ariel has been smoothed.3rd brake light has been smoothed.Nk tuning sideskirts.Gti splitter.Full honeycomb grill set professionally painted in gloss black.Matching stubby mirrors with gloss black bases.Nk tuning eyebrows.Rare blue hella tail lights with custom Audi style dynamic indicators.Super bright LED rear plate lights.Gti boot lid spoiler.Sharan rear boot badge.Custom side decal.B pillars wrapped satin black.Satin black sunstrip .Team heko wind deflectors.Mechanical:Polo gti engine 1.6 fitted (registered as 1.4 8v).Just over 83k miles on the engine, the shell has around 94k.Bmc carbon induction kit with chrome and red silicone piping. 421 stainless steel manifold to full stainless steel exhaust system with hidden exhaust tip. Sounds nice but not loud.Air con pump removed.Remapped to match exhaust and induction kit.The engine has been serviced every year whilst under my ownership.1.4 8v gearbox for shorter ratios. This was rebuilt around year ago with paperwork to prove.Also had LUK silverline clutch with the gearbox rebuild.G60 rallye 280mm front brakes. All the brake calipers were rebuilt/replaced with receipts.Gti disk converted rear brakes 239mm.Drilled and grooved disks all round.Chassis notch.6N shorter driveshafts.Wishbones and ball joints were replaced last year.Alternator was replaced with 90amp model to cope with the extra demand.Cruise hockenheim monoblock 16x7.5 et40 alloy wheels (These are rare wheels as haven't seen another set and i've had countless messages asking to buy them).165/40/16 Nankang ns2 tyres. Hydraulics:Rare way Rayvern hydraulics kit costing £3400.The rear rams are the more desirable 8” rams, giving the rear an extra 2” of lift allowing the car to wheel properly.The rear rams also have thick steel plates welded to the top of the ram as safety measure.The battery powering the hydros is 12v stinger spv70. This is battery used for car audio demo cars and costs £300 new.The system has just new hydraulic lines made up by pirtek costing £250 and have covered less than 10 miles since being reinstalled.I have also just had new rear ram made up by rayvern along with spring box ram costing £225. Interior:Mk7 Golf steering wheel with genuine air bag (not an airbag cover like most conversions) this cost £650.The indicators cancel and the horn works as it should (most conversions don't bother with this).Professionally painted gloss black dash plastics.Carbon fibre skinned door card inserts and switches.Chrome headlight switch.Chrome heater controls.Audi tt knee bars.Audi tt pedals.Audi tts gear shifter.Porsche 911 rear view mirror.Double converted cup holders.Black with blue stitching gear knob gaiter.Seat Ibiza blue centre half leather cupra seats.Black ABC pillars and headlining.Rewebbed yellow seat belts.Chrome seat rails.Blue and black floor mats.Polo Gti clocks that match the engine.Black tweeter housings.Full black leather door cards.Stinger voltage meter to keep an eye on the rear battery level.3 switches for the hydraulics. The spec list and photos really don't do the car justice and must be seen to truly understand how much work and time have gone into this. I'm not in any rush to sell the car as already have another and the car isn't in the way, so all the best price chancers and bedroom car traders will have to waste someone else's time. If don't get close to asking price then will consider de-specing the car and selling at cheaper price back on coilovers and different steering wheel, just seems shame as it's ready to be driven away and enjoyed, its as close to finished project as you will ever get and has been my reliable daily driver for the last couple of years.
