Unfortunately my Mondeo has developed fault which have not investigated as do not wish to have it repaired. am therefore selling as spares or repairs and it will sell to the highest bidder. have owned the car for very nearly years and it has been excellent for most of that time except very recently.
This is very high spec Mondeo Estate Titanium Sport and so comes with all the features that you would expect plus Satellite Navigation and detachable tow bar. Everything works heated screen, heated/cooled seats, electric windows, cruise control you name it. Mileage is 111,000 and the engine is perfect and idles quietly. This is the 160bhp litre diesel TDCi which usually sell at over £1000 at breakers.

The interior is super nice and very clean. Black alcantara with leather side panels and red stitching. Not worn, ripped or abused. Easy to transfer into another car if desired. Wheels and tyres are good, Toyos all round with plenty of life left. Wheel size is 18.
The problem that has developed is that when cold the gearbox does not go into the higher gears. Usually it will select and change between first, second, third. The message displayed on the dash when this happens is Limited Gearbox Function. However once little heat has got into the gearbox usually less than mile, you can switch off and restart and everything will be fine for the remainder of the journey.
The last couple of times starting the starter has sounded laboured and message appeared Engine Fault. This believe is due to failing starter motor and there is no engine fault. had the same thing before the battery was replaced due to low voltage. With battery fully charged and engine warm the message does not appear.
Car is still insured and taxed, MOT expires 27/02/20, so can be driven and short test drive may be possible before auction ends. After auction ends will expect payment in full and the car taken away with no fuss. Has fuel in so could be driven away strictly at your own risk. Car is being sold as Spairs or Repairs due to gearbox fault.
