Cam belt done at 113k 5 previous owners. Good: years mot, original apart from lowering springs (standard suspension included)New petrol tank, new cat converter and bottom arms. This is the 130 bhp, 1.8 16 valve, ho inlet manifold zetec. Starts, runs drives well. Heated windscreen, power steering, central locking, electric mirrors.
Not so good: bodywork, it needs attention. It’s pretty straight down both sides, but rust is starting to be an issue. Underneath pretty solid, rear chassis rails have been plated for the mot and seam sealed. No other welding has been done apart from replacement pattern drivers side wing, which is shot, The drivers door is shot, replacement is included, but it’s not very straight, and has some dents. Drivers seat is bit thread bare in places and some of the velour on the door cards etc needs re-sticking down or re-trimming. Wiring needs attention, currently electric windows don’t work, nor the power hood, everything else works. The stereo wiring needs looking at, have standard head unit and amp, but not all the original wiring or speakers is there to test it. The leather is coming off the steering wheel, I’ve taped it up now. Small oil leak, it’s the rocker cover, gasket is included- it’s on the list of things to do this week!, along with looking at the fuse board. The roof is in one piece but the seals need looking at, as it lets water in when it rains, will include cheap car cover. I brought this as stop gap In March 2017 and used it for months, took it off the road in November 2017 and it’s been sat since until last week. Basically it’s rolling project, the values are only going one way on all 90’s Ford cars and with some tlc this would be great car.
