BMW E46 M3 Coupe Manual
Just coming up to 110000 Miles on the clock.  I've driven less than 1000 miles in it this year, just take it out once week to warm it up and blow the cob webs out.  I'm selling as have too many cars and need to make room!

Very clean and original with the exception of CSL front brakes and Powerflex ARB and RTAB bushes

I've owned this car twice, first from Feb 2015 to 2018 then again from Aug 2019 to now with it being owned by local friend in between.  HPI clear when originally bought and has no accident history.  Comes with folder full of history including MoTs back to 2008.

Frequently Asked Questions1. The subframe has not been inspected or reinforced.  There have been no signs of problems here during my ownership though.  I've never tracked the car or driven hard from standing start (burn outs etc).  All E46 (not just M3s) have hairline cracks but this doesn't mean they need work unless it's causing problem.  do have reinforcement kit that bought for another car and didn't use that can include in sale if you want it.
2. No record of the rod bearings being replaced.  My view is that if an engine has issues like this they will manifest early in life.  This engine runs smooth and pulls well.  At higher mileage, on any car, you need to be ready to have to fix all sorts of problems.
3. Service history is mixture of BMW, Indy (some munich legends) and during my ownership, me.  always do all my own servicing and work, only taking my cars to garages for MoT and Aircon.  trust myself to do more thorough job than someone who is working to cost.4. The running in service is recorded at 1296 miles5. VANOS has not been touched as far as know.  It works fine so best to leave alone until that is not true.  did swap the accumulator pipe when first bought the car as there was oil around the bottom and heat shielding.  With hindsight, this was probably more likely so be seepage from the valve cover gasket.
6. Rust keep on top of any little bubbles but it is 19 years old on mostly original paint.  Anyone who says their car has not been restored but has no rust (in the UK) is probably not looking hard enough.  I've repaired rust on the front wings and various little spots all over, but it's guaranteed that more will come in future unless you strip back to bare metal and repaint.
7. The previous owner did have front end respray (I have the receipts) but this was tidy up all the stone chips around the 60K mark.  The stone chips are now back.8. This car is not show quality, concours or garage queen.  It's been well used as daily driver but also well looked after.  I'm not going to make any 'cherished car' or 'no expense spared' type claims either.  It's just good clean example that's not been abused.
