Up for grabs is reluctant sale of my BMW e93 m3. will start by saying it is on the list as CAT as it suffered front end damage, no jig work was required, don’t normally buy vehicles this way but bought it off friend who carried out the repair so knew it was repaired properly and not just bodged together.
I’ve owned the vehicle for just over year and literally done few thousand miles in it, moving property with less parking has prompted the sale.
Although the m3 is an earlier model it has undertaken facelift to include the front and rear lights including LED halos and the updated idrive system. In my possession have added carbon fibre front splitter, carbon fibre rear diffuser, alluminium front under tray, eisiemann exhaust with full decat pipe and manifold, however this does prompt the engine light to come on, do have the original middle section that stops this that will come with the car. The car sounds awesome and can literally be heard mile away, really needs to be heard to be appreciated.
The interior of the car is in very good condition and is finished in the classy red leather, this really compliments the white bodywork. The bodywork is in good condition, please bear in mind this is 12 year old car so will have some age related wear and tear.
Car runs and drives perfectly and the paddle shifts are responsive and smooth.
Had loads of enquires when listed previously, some from France and Germany, the car can be located from my storage barn that is approximately 15 minute drive from Dover port.
Everyone’s perception of things is different so any test drive and inspection is welcomed.
**UPDATE TO LISTING**
Took the car out for good run today as the weather was nice and have found some faults with the car that need attending too that hadn't realised at the time of the listing, have readjusted the price to suit, if not sold in this auction then will pay and have the works done and relist at later date. These are:
1. Rear drivers side window not going down, doesn't affect the operation of the roof, believe the motor will need changing.2. Bonnet release handle has come off so will need refixing, still opens if you pull the cable. Cable possibly stretched3. Very small dent smaller than 5p lower down on rear drivers side quarter.4. Rear boot BMW badge has come off so needs replacing
I have had many questions about service history, if shells be changed etc. bought the car with no paperwork as insurance company kept it all. only have keys and log book no other documentation.
The car is no longer stored at my work in Slough and back in storage near my home address of Birchington on Sea (ct7), any viewings will need to be there with Social Distancing measures etc put in place.
No offers, no PXs so please don't waste your time. Price is firm and good value for low mileage clean M3.
