Hello and welcome to my listing for this Ford Fiesta ST150. I'll be honest from the off with this as do not want to waste anybody's time and do not expect anybody to waste mine. bought this back at the end of may to use as our third car as I'd fancied one when they came out but couldn't justify the running costs or fit the children's seats in it back then. picked this up after looking at a few because it represented the best value for money and do like bit of project. After few weeks researching prices and spending money on HPI checks found this one. lot of the ones looked at were cat and the sellers weren't great at informing the buying public. This particular Fiesta is nowhere near the top of the scale but its certainly not propping it up either. Its had few owners and am the 8th. The Fiesta has no service history besides the current MOT certificate and receipt for bits I've done. serviced the car myself replacing the oil, filter, spark plugs, water pump, coolant and belt. also have new fuel filter which I've been meaning to do but I've lent out my ramps so cant get underneath, also bought three new wiper blades which are in the boot still packaged. This lot came to around £240. also bled the brake fluid but already had this in the garage from doing my other car. The rear discs and pads were allegedly replaced just before bought the car but there's no receipt. Obviously you can see them and its clear they're recent. The front brakes are ok but discs have lips. The braking is even underfoot. The Fiesta sits on excellent continental tyres with around 4-5mm tread. had to get few little bits from the breakers for it and did this early on, boot carpet, few little interior bits, battery clamp. stripped the seats and rear carpets out of the car and cleaned everything, The interior of the car is virtually spotless the rear is perfect and looks hardly used. Unfortunately about 3 weeks into my ownership and week after putting in all that effort somebody drove into me on roundabout. The roads were wet so slid which helped minimise the damage and it was low speed as we both left the lights and the other driver just turned into me. I came to private arrangement with the other party but its left me out of pocket and ultimately I've lost my love for the car and decided to sell it. The damage can be seen in the pictures and this is door, rear quarter and side skirt. The front bumper is badly stone chipped and ideally needs respray, there are various minor marks and chips around the car as to be expected from its age and the front left wing has small rust spot at the very front. The jacking covers are all missing which understand is common for these. The windscreen has chip in the left side which was going to have done on the insurance but don't wish to spend any more money on it. It is heated but most of it is non functioning so replacement of the entire screen would provide some benefit. was going to have all this work done but as said I've lost interest in it now. Mechanical issues are just the left front strut top mount is on its way but no big deal. The Fiesta has an aftermarket rear box and K&N air filter which ups its volume bit. It sounds lovely when first started then as it warms up gets bit louder but its not what I'd call antisocial. All the alloy centre caps are present but the nuts holding the wheels on are from focus and stick out bit too much for the caps to go on. It drives well and is quick but it still manages 35mpg if you drive reasonably. did have it over 36 at one point but its settled at 33 now. When first had it it was returning around 28 but I'm not an overly fast driver and the novelty soon wore off. All in all its an 11 year old Dagenham dustbin with Mondeo engine in it and some fancy seats and wheels. Its laugh to drive and not expensive to run or maintain. It could have the body tidied up for 4-600 quid and give very good example but its probably best suited to converting for track use or just cheap way to own an ST.Please remember that this car is HPI clear, the damage could be repaired and the cars history wont suffer as result. So many of these are CAT with no true idea of there previous bodged repairs. The best st150 fiestas are still £4000 so think this is priced reasonably, although will consider offers. I've barely used the car since the collision and I'm going to lose bit of money on it but I'm sick of looking at it every time walk out the front door. Any questions please feel free to ask, cannot possibly list every niggle and I'm not mechanically qualified so may have missed something. If in doubt feel free to have look first this is how normal shopping works after all as whatever price is accepted is the price to pay. will not reduce it when you turn up and start pointing out faults.
