I bought this car about weeks ago, and it's been something to tinker with for me. It's got low mileage, 11 Months MOT, and plenty of service history.
I've took care of all the minor niggles it had such as new mirror, replaced the aerial, fixed couple of minor oil leaks, changed all the fluids and filters, spark plugs, as well as replacing the timing belt. All done within the last month to bring the car back up to scratch. Will definitely serve the new owner for years to come with light maintenance to maintain it. have all the old parts in the boot for the work I've done myself, and receipts.
Insurance is very cheap being that it's 1.1, the tax is also reasonable at £14 month. These cars comfortably get 40-45mpg around town as they're far lighter than alot of modern cars due to their simplicity.
A quick rundown of some of the history have, I've got all paperwork in the original owners manual:
-Full new exhaust, including catalytic converter, 2016-Full brake job, all corners, 2018-4 brand new tires, March 2020-Fully serviced, tappets adjusted, April 2020-Gates Cambelt Waterpump Kit, April 2020-New driveshaft, only MOT advisory, April 2020-New rocker cover gasket-2 keys, logbook present
As you can see this cars been well maintained. When say mechanically simple, the car has no power steering, windows or locks truly nothing to go wrong! The steering is not too heavy as the cars quite light at around 850kg, and naturally lightens up when the cars rolling anyway.
I'm simply hoping for fair money for the time spent on it. have no use for it myself and would like it to go to decent home. As say it was bit of fun to keep my hands entertained, time to let someone get the benefit of it.
All in the car owes me about £650, so I've started the auction there. No reserve, day auction. Whatever make on top is bonus for my efforts!
