am selling my beautiful litre V12 class Mercedes limousine.  It has been with me since 2001 and was used as the family car for long distance trips for many years.  It is like travelling on magic carpet but without the wind noise.  It has almost every conceivable extra and as is always the case with Class Mercedes, these extras are usually around 10 years ahead of the competition.  It drives superbly and returns over 20mpg most of the time.  It has bags of power and even more torque from its silky smooth 12 cylinder engine.
The car is in original condition.  None of the bodywork has been repaired or resprayed during my ownership and am almost certain that it was not touched during the only other owner's ownership.  There are marks and scuffs on the car.  All of which remember happening.  There are not enough photos allowed to show them on the advert but email me and will send them to you.
The car was specified new to be LHD but RHD spec by developer in Jersey who had house in Spain.  There is correspondence in the glove compartment ordering the car from Jacksons Garage in Jersey.  There is also an invoice for £90,500 for the car.  He used the car for the first 4.5 years of its life to drive to Spain number of times year.  The remainder of the time it lived under cover in heated garage in Jersey with the battery disconnected.  bought the car straight from the first owner and it had done just over 20,000 miles and looked and smelt brand new.  have owned the car for the last 20 years and looked after it as well as can.  It is still in full working order (I used it as my main car for three months last year) and in good condition.  It comes with 10 months' MOT.  It must be remembered that this is prestige 24 year old car so it must be allowed the odd hiccough.  Being German, have found these pretty few and far between.  In the first 10 years had it the only repairs it had were new rear left seat belt and light bulb.  In the last few years have replaced the heater fan motor, the water pump, the starter motor, sensors required for ESP and repaired the vacuum operated soft-close system amongst other things.  All have been done by specialist in older Mercedes and BMWs.
The car has been member of the family but as the family has now grown up and moved on it is time for the car to do the same.  The price reflects the originality and the reluctance to sell.  The new owner will have job getting me to part with the car!
