1987 Honda cr500r ,cylinder,head,piston and reed cage stock am not really an engine guy or specialist by no means So please correct anything say It was for pilot fl400r conversion that never happened.It has been sitting on the self for well over 15 years. Yes it is dirty, greasy and dusty with very little rust on surface.When bought it they said it was out of running 87 cr500r bike and been tested ?I have no proof of that. There are no visible cracks or repairs that can see and looks bone stock. No real ware factors and spots on the piston and or sleave.But piston does  have 020 stamped on it ?Not sure if that means thou over? Which could mean that it is not stock sized piston 87 for Honda was special year and very collectible year £ So am told. Selling as is no warranties because of age and not 100% sure it was tested and out of running bike. But it does look from my eyes very great looking cylinder head and piston. would definitely have it cleaned and machined before it is installed.
