Near perfect condition 2001 748s Mono/Biposto in Red and White. The 's' is for sport suspension and comes with the 5-spoke Marchesini rims. This is an extremely rare bike, especially one in such good condition.
I bought this in 2006 with 15,150 miles on it from Ducati Mechanic who sold it for downpayment/preorder on an 848 (which hadn't come out at the time yet). have only put 9,500 miles on it since and have realized just don't use it enough to merit keeping it, though am extremely sad to see it go. Four years ago had the same mechanic do about $4k of work to get it fully up to working order as it had been sitting in garage for years. then moved and shipped it with me to Boulder, CO. Last summer had the oil changed and checkup by Boulder Motor Sports before garaging it for the winter. It's been garaged all years in Boulder and has been ridden periodically through the years and works perfectly. Has some small scratches on the side panels, imagine less than the average 18-year-old motorcycle. With the chrome aftermarket valve cover and carbon muffler, it has the very distinctive sound of V-twin and dry clutch that will turn the heads of anyone that knows that these sounds signify Ducati is coming by! get compliments every single time ride it and have the luxury of bombing around on the Monoposto with Corbin racing seat or tossing on the Biposto seat and bringing along passenger!
