In 1993, the Africa Twin enjoyed revision including new frame, plastics and engine modifications. The engine was tuned for reliability over peak figures, but you still got an easy 60 horsepower and 46 pound feet of torque. These bikes are as reliable as you’ll find, and though fuel economy isn’t stellar (expect to get around 35 mpg), that’s minor price to pay for bike that you can take nearly everywhere around the world. Keep up with regular maintenance and keep spare CDI on the bike, and you should be set forever. This specific Honda Africa Twin has had an incredible amount of upgrades already done to it.
