   am letting go, from my personal collection, my 1983 V45 Honda Magna.This V45 is without doubt, the Nicest and cleanest 1983 V45 Magna that has ever been posted on eBay period. found it in small town near Dayton Mn. where live. It was stored in the owners  garage. He said he bought it new in "83" and took trips yr with his pals, and then parked it in his garage for 18 yrs or so in 2002, and never rode it again. It did not run, it was not breathing. It has original tires, that have couple of cracks but looked  like new. It had the sissy bar and windshield which removed to clean and to have better pictures. left the radiator trim, and side covers and seat off for the same reason. They are all mint and look like new. The paint is original and as you can tell by the photos it is gorgeous. replaced the engine side covers gaskets and had to strip the left side cover and buffed it out because it had excessive corrosion, and did not look like the rest of the bike. buffed the front valve cover also. The rest of the aluminum was not stripped and is original. When opened the hood the large fuel line was brittle and cracked, replaced it. installed new battery, changed the fluids and thats it. It is 99.9% original. It runs and drives perfect. Everything works as it should. The owner said other than oil changes he never put wrench on the bike ever,  Zoom in and see no wrench marks on the bike at all. The horn is as loud as new one, that is rare.The carbs have been rebuilt. never opened the headlight but it would look brand new and not messed around with.The front brakes are little sticky but have not been messed with. didnt want to put wrench marks on them. Side covers have all the tabs and are like new. have been riding Hondas since 1967, started with 305 scrambler then the 450s then the 750s then the v65s, than the Goldwings then the CBXs. am now 78 yrs young but wont put training wheels on my Bikes. So I'm letting them go to another home, and hope they are treasured by their new owners. The 83 Magnas are highly collectable and The 1979-80 CBXs the same. They had the highest horse power, and the V45s big brother, the mighty V65 would go from to 100 MPH in under seconds, and do 10.2 second 1/4 mile run, thus nicknamed the Widow maker". The V45s were the quickest 750cc that know of. The V4 cylinder engines with dual overhead cams,16 valves coupled with drive shaft and water cooled and speed transmission, is as good as it gets, they are indestructible, and the Magnas are the best looking bikes on earth then, and still are today. dont wholesale or discount my bikes, and this V45 will win every bike show you enter, in the survivor class. The price is right, Thanks for lookin in .....Dick PS there is small dent in tank that doesnt even show in pics, It would be crime to repaint.
