1982 Husqvarna 430 XC This motorcycle was very good condition Alberta barn find and it represents the pinnacle of Husqvarna big bore off-road dominance. Collector quality restoration. It was stripped down to the last nut and bolt and meticulously re-assembled with original bolts and new nylock nuts.The frame has no gouges, flattened rails or dents and was powder coated satin silver. The fork sliders and original handlebars were powdercoated satin gold to match the wheels. New fork seals were installed. No rust or pitting on the fork legs.The dent free Norwegian Nordisk wheels were stripped, the hubs powdercoated satin black and re-laced. Brake shoes were not changed and have lots of life left. Rear springs were sandblasted and powdercoated, and the oil changed in the leak free Ohlins shocks. New sprockets and chain, new Kenda tires and new tubes. Excellent condition tank with zero dents under fresh matt black epoxy DTM paint. There are some minor surface scratches on the bare aluminum portions. New DC Plastic body work was installed. The old body work (incomplete and not pictured) is included in the sale.The engine was over-bored 0.50 mm to 86.42 mm and fitted with new Wosner piston. New main bearings and all new engine seals were installed. The crankshaft was inspected and meets the factory specs. The cylinder and head were vapor blasted, not painted! This is virgin build and has not seen gasoline since the rebuild. The carb was cleaned. The final pictures are from during the build.Ready to add to your collection or to race in vintage motocross.
